Who We Are

Beginning in 2009 the impact of the Great Recession on Non-Profit organizations became glaringly apparent. According to an article titled, “The Great Recession and the New Normal”, presented by the Community Foundation of Utah in February 2010, charitable giving in the areas of health, human services, and homeless was slightly up compared with prior years, however, organizations dedicated to arts, environment, and education reported that giving was substantially diminished. Since this article was published more than 38 percent of Utah’s Non-Profit organizations have closed their doors, according to the following article published September 2012 by huffingtonpost.com. 

NRGforHumanity.com was established in May 2011 to provide Non-Profit organizations with one more new and innovative option for raising the capital necessary for continued operations. Our two-part mission includes:

1) Assist non-profit organizations with increasing awareness of the meaningful causes that they champion and to provide a viable option for raising the operating capital needed to advance their programs.

2) Provide members of the NRGforHumanity.com community with discounted prices on highest quality eco-friendly products available on the market today.

 

What We Do

NRGforHumanity.com offers consumers a minimum of 20% savings on the highest quality personal solar products on the market, and 10% of all sales proceeds benefit a Non-Profit Organization.
 

How do Non-Profit Organizations Participate

NRGforHumanity.com offers a unique affiliate marketing program designed specifically for Non-Profit organizations. We understand that the most valuable asset of any Non-Profit organization is its supporter base. Thus we provide Non-Profit organizations with the ability to promote our discounted products to their supporter-base in a way that is non-threatening and most importantly, non-offensive. In remuneration of the Non-Profit organizations promotional efforts, we will pay them10% of all sales-proceeds resulting from their efforts. A few of the things that each Non-Profit organization should know as they consider utilizing our affiliate marketing program are as follow:

• First, NRGforHumanity.com maintains the right as part of our affiliate marketing agreement to promote the causes of any Non-Profit organization that enrolls in our affiliate marketing program. The most common method that we use to promote on behalf of an organization is via our FaceBook page, where we frequently post links to Non-Profit organizations that have enrolled in our affiliate marketing program. We believe the best way to promote our business is by promoting your cause and your venues.


• Second, on a monthly basis, we will choose one or more Non-Profit organizations to highlight for the month via our FaceBook page or other marketing activities we manage. During the course of the month, 10% of all sales generated as a result of our own marketing efforts will be divided among the highlighted Non-Profit organization(s), thus Non-Profit organizations may receive additional compensation simply for letting us promote them as one of our featured organizations for a month.


• Finally, we recognize that our affiliate marketing program is not a “Silver-Bullet” that will solve all fundraising needs for all Non-Profit organizations. Our program is simply one more innovative tool in your fundraising tool-belt that will help you accomplish your fundraising goals and assist you with supporting the worthwhile programs offered through your organization. As such, we proactively assign a Personal Account Manager to each Non-Profit organization that enrolls in our affiliate marketing program to assist the organization with integrating our program into their overall fundraising strategy.
